Billabong Europe is proud to welcome to the team the free surfing genius that is William Aliotti.
The globetrotting experimentalist whose idea of a “fun session” usually involves a square-lipped slab and a tiny board with either two fins or sometimes no fins.
Whether he’s knifing into mutant wedges in Europe, sliding finless across Indonesian glass, or drawing hypnotic twin-fin lines in the Caribbean, William approaches every wave like a painter who refuses to use the same brush twice. His surfing is equal parts precision and poetry, chaos and control. Originally from the French Caribbean William now calls the Hossegor home.

Aliotti has spent the past decade roaming the planet on a mission to find incredible waves—cold or tropical.
“I want to keep exploring new waves, different boards, and destinations that push style, creativity, and performance” Aliotti said, probably waxing a twin fin while checking a forecast with too many purple blobs. “I just want to keep exploring different boards, different waves, and take on projects that push style and creativity.
